Hodgson: We beat a good Everton side

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson was full of praise for his side after they came from behind to beat Everton on Sunday and he also recognised that Everton were a good side.

The Toffees had led through Tim Cahill's 33rd-minute opener, but Paul Konchesky's equaliser and Damien Duff's winner - his first goal for the club - left Hodgson delighted.

"It looked like a 0-0 in the first half but of course they scored a good goal and we found ourselves on the back foot," he said.

"We showed a bit more courage in the second half. It was less a war of attrition and we scored two goals to turn the game around.

"I thought both teams worked very hard and we know we have beaten a good Everton team today."
