According to Sky Sports, Everton have been linked with a move for Middlesbrough's Gary O'Neil.

It’s more of a rumour than a report with any concrete facts, the player is said to want out of Middlesbrough and has done since the end of last season after relegation, but so far there has been no offer put on the table by any club. 

The midfielder’s former club Portsmouth are said to be interested, so are Fulham, but it looks like being Moyes who makes the first move for the player who wants to return to Premier League football. 

Moyes wants to add to his squad and has been trying to, but he has been frustrated by a few leads so far, but the manager does like the cut of O’Neil’s jib with him having the experience of the Premier League. 

There is a pretty high asking price been put on the player by Gareth Southgate in an attempt to hold off a deal.
