Everton have confirmed they are in talks with Arsenal over the signing of Philippe Senderos, but they stress that there is no deal done yet.

The Swiss Football Federation claimed on Tuesday morning that the defender had agreed a move north from the Emirates.

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright told the club's official website: "We have been negotiating with Arsenal for the transfer of Philippe. "Nothing has been concluded yet but talks are on-going."
