Everton midfielder Tim Cahill has been named in the Australia squad to face Ireland next week, he will join up with a 22 man party in Limerick.

The game will take place just three days before the new season is due to start on 15th August.

Squad: Oliver Bozanic, Mark Bresciano, Tim Cahill, Nick Carle, David Carney, Ante Covic, James Holland, Brett Holman, Mile Jedinak, Harry Kewell, Patrick Kisnorbo, Adrian Madaschi, Scott McDonald, Aaron Mooy, Lucas Neill (captain), Jade North, Nikita Rukavytsya, Mark Schwarzer, Matthew Spiranovic, Dario Vidosic, Rhys Williams, Luke Wilkshire.
