Bruce: City are a huge threat

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce says Manchester City will be a "huge threat" in the top flight this season - but he expects a good performance by his team on Sunday when City are the visitors to the Stadium of Light.
"One thing's for sure, we have to play well on the day," he said. "We played very well against them last year, we're at home and there will be a big crowd.
"City had a sticky start against Tottenham but make no mistake, with what's happened to their group of players they will be a huge threat to everyone this season.
"They will need time to adjust and gel, but when you're hand-picking the best players available you're always going to be a threat.
"I am confident we'll do well; we'll be giving our best shot. Our aim is to play well on the day to get the crowd behind us and make life as difficult as possible for City."
"They made a number of changes last night, but I can't see their team being too much different from the one which played against Liverpool," Bruce revealed.
"I went to see that game and they were mightily impressive. The front three of Milner, Tevez and Johnson were terrific.
"Yaya Toure, Barry and De Jong were excellent in midfield, Lescott, Kolo Toure at the back...the names just trip off the tongue.
"They had six players sat behind me who weren't even on the bench and they cost something like £80m.
"But with the Premier League being how it is, and with the crowd we have, I hope we can produce what would be a fantastic result."
