Steve Bruce's third signing of the summer is that of Ahmed Al-Muhamaddi, more commonly known as the 'Egyptian Beckham'.

Signed from ENPPI's Ahmed Al-Muhammadi on a season-long loan, the22-year-old has won 42 caps for his native Egypt and can be deployed anywhere down the right hand side.
 
Sunderland also have the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan spell.
 
The player began his career with hometown club Ghazl El-Mehalla, making his first team debut for The Farmers aged just 17 before moving to Cairo-based ENPPI in 2006.
 
Al-Muhammadi will link up with his new team-mates for pre-season training next week.
