Reserves could clinch title tonight

The Sunderland Reserves once again have the chance to clinch the league title tonight where they are visitors to Manchester City, kick off is 7pm.

Sunderland just need to win 1 of their final 3 games of the season to be crowned champions.

A draw, and losing their last two games could mean that Manchester United could catch the wearsiders.

Last week Neil Bailey's side could have secured the title by beating Everton at home in Hetton but the game ended goalless.

The Black Cats will be boosted by the return of first team veteran Nyron Nosworthy who recently returned from a hamstring problem suffered while playing against Aston Villa at the Sunderland Stadium of Light.

Sunderland (from): Colgan, Carson, Kay, Hartley, Nosworthy, M'voto, Madden, Adams, Weir, Meyler, Colback, Chandler, Brown, Cook, Waghorn, R. Noble.
