Keane Quits

Roy Keane has walked out of the Stadium of Light for the last time as Sunderland manager, unsurprisingly after a poor performance at home to Bolton Wanderers resulting in an embarrassing 4-1 defeat! I for one am not surprised, he did it to his country - remember the world cup - so it was only going to be a matter of time before he did it to his club.

Roy Keane was manager at the stadium of light for 2 years and 4 months, on leaving he has left us in a better position than when he joined, so what exactly went wrong?

Is he just a quitter? Afterall he did walk out on his country.

Perhaps he was scared to face his old club Manchester United, especially after losing badly at home to a minnow like Bolton.

Keane, whose contract was due to run out in the Summer was in the process of negotiating a new contract with the club, but the negotiations dropped off due to the wearsiders poor form.

I guess he looked into that mirror of his one two many times.
