Stef Frost has turned professional on his birthday today and after putting in some good performances after coming of the bench four times in the last few games of last season.

Stef Frost turned 17 today and also turned professional has well, after signing a two-year deal with the club on professional terms.

Frost, who plays on the wing, only signed Scholarship forms with us last summer and has put in some good performances at Youth and Reserve level and was given a chance towards the end of last season by Gudjon Thordarson.

Frost appeared on four occasions from the bench for us in the last few games of last season.

He did pick up a hairline fracture in our last game of season against Bury, but bravely played on after the bang to his head, it wasn’t until the game finished that he felt unwell and took a trip to the hospital where it showed the fracture.

Frost is now the third person to have come from the Youth Team to turn professional in the last few months. The others to join the first team are Tommy Hannigan and Bobby Wilson.
