Squad to play Exeter

Exeter sit 9th in the league with exactly half the league points Albion have achieved. With two wins two losses and a draw under their belt so far in the season they will be looking at a making a good impression in front of what is predicted to be another sell out attendance.

Exeter have scored 11 tries in the first five matches 4 from the forwards and 7 from the backs. Also according to Rugby Roundup Exeter players have been shown 7 cards this season including one red to scrum half Kevin Barrett for stamping.

Kicking duties are taken by Tony Yapp who has a conversion rate of 73% so far this season. Albion will have to make sure they do not give away penalties in a kicking position although Exeter have only taken 18 points from penalties in 5 matches. Last season Tony ran in 4 tries and kicked 200 points for the Chiefs including 3 drop goals. Tony has played for England at under 21 level, England A and the Barbarians.

23 year old full back Gary Kingdom who was part of the Devon side last season and some had linked with a move to Albion over the closed season scored a try in Exeter's bonus point win over Rotherham two weeks ago also kicked a penalty when Exeter came away from their trip to Bedford last week. Gary ran in 11 tries and kicked 35 points last season for Exeter.

Number 8 Richard Baxter is one of two players to score two tries this season he stands at 6' 4" and weighs in at 17st. At 28 he has played for England Divisions and under 21 as well as being picked for the Barbarians. He ran in 7 tries last season. His two tries were scored in the first match of the season against Nottingham.

The other player to have run in two tries is centre/wing Jason Luff, at 22 he has played for England Universities and at just 5' 8" ran in 7 tries in an Exeter shirt last season.

Betting odds show that Albion are expected to win by 6 points and Rotherham have joined Albion as joint favourites to win the league.

Tickets are now only available from Sandy Park now as Albion have returned any unsold tickets and according to the Exeter website there are now no seated tickets available. If you are travelling to the match all advise is to get there early as there is no public parking at Sandy Park and with a capacity crowd expected it may take a time to get in.

The Travel Club coaches are now full! If you booked and paid for a seat you should meet at 12:30 not 11am as previously stated.
