Latics midfielder Lee McCulloch has been charged with violent conduct by The Football Association after punching Sheffield United’s Chris Morgan at the weekend.
In an age where every moment of every top flight match is perused and analysed, only a complete moron would punch a fellow player.
Morgan however is prepared to forgive and forget, saying: "Lee was man enough to come and knock on the door, put his arm round me and apologise,
"That's enough for me. That's it. It's finished. Let's get on with it.
"We're all sportsmen. We're going to get knocks and black eyes. It is part and parcel of the game."
The FA however will be far less lenient if McCulloch is found guilty, with a three-match ban (versus
McCulloch has until 6pm tomorrow (Tuesday) to respond to the charge and will face the disciplinary commission hearing on Thursday.
