Henri Camara and Luis Antonio Valencia face late fitness tests for the visit of Watford whilst Chris Kirkland, Arjan de Zeeuw and Emile Heskey are set to return after sitting out the 2-0 League Cup defeat at Crewe Alexandra.

David Cotterill comes back into the squad after being cup-tied for the trip to Crewe, but Lee McCulloch is still sidelined with his knee injury.

 

Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd rested virtually all of his first-team players for the midweek win over Accrington Stanley in the League Cup, but goalkeeper Ben Foster, defender Malky Mackay, midfielders Gavin Mahon and Damien Francis and forwards Marlon King and Ashley Young are all likely to be restored.

 

Defenders Clarke Carlisle (chest infection) and Chris Powell (calf) remain sidelined.
