Gravesend & Northfleet fans will have the chance to meet up with old Canvey manager Jeff King when The Fleet travel to play his new club Chelmsford City in a pre-season match this month.

Fleet add Chelmsford City to pre season fixtures

 

Gravesend & Northfleet have added another pre season friendly as they build up to the start of their first Conference National campaign as a completely full time team.

 

They will make their first ever visit to Chelmsford's Melbourne Park Stadium on Friday August 4th for a match with a 7.45.p.m kick off.

 

Chelmsford are likely to feature a number of new faces as they have undergone an overhaul since Jeff King moved to City from Canvey Island at the end of last season. One of King's former player, Jon Keeling, will feature in the Fleet squad for the game, while City will include ex Gulls Peter Smith, Ben Chenery, Steve Ward, Jay Conroy and Chris Duffy.
