Ruddy Loan Deal To Walsall

John Ruddy has been loaned to League One team Walsall to gain invaluable first team experience. Since arriving at Goodison, Ruddy has trained with the first team squad, gaining invaluable knowledge from Former England Goalkeeper Chris Woods and Nigel Martyn.
The teenage shot stopper has been impressive in his reserve team matches for Everton and Chris Woods stated that it's vital for a 'keeper to play regular football.

Most keepers should be able to stop shots and make saves but there are other aspects of the game like your starting positions, understanding the angles and dealing with crosses that you can only really work on by playing matches." |
John Ruddy will complete his loan move in time to play for Walsall against Scunthorpe on Saturday.
