Aston Villa will host Manchester City at Villa Park tomorrow in the fifth round of this season's FA Cup. The Villans will be hoping to reach the quarter finals of the competition for the first time in six years. Aston Villa team news: Gavin McCann has served his one-match suspension so will return to the squad with James Milner also available after missing the match with Newcastle. Lee Hendrie is fit again so is expected to feature but Davis and Samuel are doubtful.

Man City team news: Stuart Pearce will make a late decision on Trevor Sinclair after the midfielder suffered a heavy blow to the face in their previous match. Andy Cole, Nedum Onuoha and Claudio Reyna are all sidelined. Sun Jihai is also a doubt.

History of this fixture: Villa and City have met on 143 occasions with Villa winning 52, City winning 54 and 37 of the games ending as draws. The Villans have failed to defeat tomorrow's opponents in their last six attempts and the last time the two teams met in the FA Cup was back in January 1995 when City progressed with a 1-0 win.
