Aston Villa will travel to Craven Cottage this evening hoping to build on their impressive Boxing Day demolition of Everton. Fulham, however, will not be an easy opponent as the Cottagers aim to to make it five straight home league wins on the bounce.
Aston Villa team news: Milan Baros will again lead the Villa line but this time it could be alongside Juan Pablo Angel who impressed after coming off the bench against Everton. Olof Mellberg remains sidelined with a hamstring problem so Delaney will once again partner Liam Ridgewell at the heart of the defence. James Milner is also doubtful for the match so Eirik Bakke is on standby to replace him.
Fulham team news: Fulham boss Chris Coleman will be without Malbranque, Diop, Jensen and Volz for tonight's match. Goalkeeper Mark Crossley is also expected to miss out so Tony Warner is set to deputise.
History of this fixture: The two teams have met on 46 seperate occasions with Villa winning 17, Fulham winning 16, and the remaining 13 matches ending all square. Fulham haven't beaten the Villans since February 2002. Last season's corresponding fixture ended 1-1 but Villa claimed all three points in the return match at Villa Park with a comfortable 2-0 win.
