Liverpool fringe player Jari Litmanen has said that he is miserable at anfield. The 31 year old has not played too often for Gerrard Houliers team since his free transfer from Barcelona in 2001.

"Liverpool are one of the favourites for the title but they might have a bigger problem keeping everyone happy at the club if they are not playing regularly," Litmanen told The Sun.

"Houllier is the boss. At Liverpool nobody argues with him and I will not either. I just have to accept my situation - even if it makes me very miserable.

"I would really like to play a bigger part in our championship bid.

"If I look at the last two seasons, I have to admit that it has not made me happy.

"I wanted more out of this move but when you are not playing it is difficult to remain enthusiastic."
