Liverpool's Senegal International Slaif Diao will make his Reds Debut in a Friendly Match with Chester City on Tuesday.

Diao was not meant to be arriving on Merseyside until Christmas time but Reds Boss Gerard Houllier decided to bring the move forward as there is doubts over England International Steven Gerrard's fitness.

Also Milan Baros, Igor Biscan, Patrik Berger and Chris Kirkland are all expected to play at some point in the friendly.

Baros has been brilliant in pre-season and will look to push Heskey and Michael Owen this season for one of the slots up front as the reds push for the title.
