Only days after sacking Colin Calderwood and on the day of their AGM Goalkeeper Graeme Stack gets arrested!

Hibs is a club at the moment that appears to be attracting bad publicity every day and in so many different ways.

Manager Colin Calderwood was sacked only a couple of days ago, forcing the club to appoint former Hearts assistant Billy Brown, and then today we hear their first choice goalkeeper was arrested in London.

Stack was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after a man in his 20s was treated in hospital. It is understood the London-born player was arrested outside a club in Kingly Street at about 0230 GMT on Sunday.

He was questioned at a centralLondonpolice station and bailed pending further inquiries.

This was on the same day as the Hibs AGM, where Shareholders would be given the chance to put further pressure on the board. This only three days after the fans had gathered outside Easter Rd and chanted “Sack the Board”.

These chants were repeated tonight before the business of the meeting got underway. The board have said they will be looking for a manager who will bring leadership, and will go for the right man even if he is currently employed!

Owner Tom Farmer even went as far as to say, “We want a manager with the eye of the tiger.”

It will be interesting to see if the words are followed by action, the fans will be expecting some strong action to get their team back into the top six, as they have been in six of the last seven seasons.

The much battered Hibs fans will be delighted if the actions do come to fruition and the discussions can get back to what is happening on the field.
