Hearts have been the big winners financially, although possibly limiting their chances of getting through, when they drewEngland’s Tottenham Hotspur. This ensures a sell out at Tynecastle and they will be able to name their price for the tickets.

They should also hope to get the game on TV somewhere and name their price for that as well. They will play the first leg at home on Thursday 18^th August.

There is every chance this will be the end of their European campaign therefore they have to maximise the revenue they can.

The Old Firm were both seeded in the draw meaning their draw should have been a bit easier but I am not so sure. Rangers were drawn againstSlovenia’sMaribor. A team they beat 6-1 on aggregate 10 years ago, but the Rangers side will be completely different quality from that one…

Celtic have drawn Sion of Switzerland and they have already been described as a typical Swiss side by Neil Lennon, who believes they will be fit and athletic – a bit of stereo typing there.

No doubt the Sion boss will be describing Celtic as typically Scottish, hard working and physical….would he like that?

Hopefully at least these two can get through, and hopefully Hearts as well, as I said yesterday we need the co-efficient points!
