The SPL title will be decided this afternoon, will the helicopter with the SPL trophy be landing at Kilmarnock or Glasgow.

Rangers travel to Kilmarnock knowing the destination of the title is in their hands and a win will secure the Championship no matter what Celtic do against Motherwell at Celtic Park.

There is no doubt Rangers have all the momentum going into the game, not having lost since the draw with Celtic in the first game after the top six split.

They have a knack of winning games when people are predicting the game will be difficult. They have already seen off the challenge of Motherwell, Dundee Utd and Hearts without any problems.

If anything these games have been over by half time, and this could be the key to this afternoon’s game as well, if they get ahead early the helicopter could head to Ayrshire early doors.

Celtic on the other hand will be hoping to hear positive news from Rugby Park while they are taking on Motherwell. Otherwise this could end up a damp squib of a game.

Celtic should win this one easily enough, as Motherwell appear to already have one eye on the Cup Final with Stuart McCall saying he will not play any of his players who are carrying a knock.

For me it will be Rangers who will be celebrating the title as Walter Smith takes a bow on his managerial career at Ibrox.
