While Celtic kept the pressure on Rangers for the title by winning at Tynecastle, all the talk was about an attack on Neil Lennon by a fan

Celtic were a goal up at half time thanks to a goal from Gary Hooper, and following his second just after the break a fan jumped from the enclosure and tried to attack Neil Lennon.

 

It looked as though he managed to get a slight blow to the head of Lennon before being restrained by the coaching staff and the Police.

 

Lennon must seriously be considering why he is putting himself through all of this and take his family somewhere more civilised.

 

When you could focus on the football, there was time to count the incidents apart from Hooper’s goals. Obua was sent off for a fresh air swipe at Mulgrew and when Commons made it 3-0 he was then shown a second yellow for jumping into the crowd to celebrate.

 

It was certainly a mad night at Tynecastle, but elsewhere Motherwell and Kilmarnock played out a civilised 1-1 draw and Inverness heaped more misery on Hibs with a 2-0 win.
