With results going in our favour this afternoon, and all but Derby slipping up, it means a win tomorrow against Millwall will see Preston claim a play-off place.

Preston North End are once again in front of the Sky cameras tomorrow, and due to todays results.

Brighton 2-2 West Ham
Cardiff 2-0 Reading
Watford 0-0 Sheff Utd

Managers quotes ahead of the clash at the New Den.

Billy Davies:

"We have given the lads a couple of days off, the rest of the week is just building up to the game on Sunday. But it is nothing different, the same approach, the same things that we have been doing and keeping things ticking along.

"It matters not, whether it is a 12 o'clock kick-off at night, it doesn't matter when we kick-off, we know what we have got to do. We have got to approach the games irrespective of kick-off times, we have just got to prepare for the game as we have been doing and realise what needs to be done in that match, go in there and give it our very best.

"We are looking forward to the game, it is a difficult game but at the same time we will just carry on with business as usual."

"The mood in the training has been excellent I have got to say that," said the North End gaffer.

"We have got an experienced team here, they know the situation, they have been there before the experienced boys know how to handle the big games.

"I don't think it is a surprise to us, they have been in many big matches before, some of them have been in the play-offs, some have played in the Premiership and some have played at international level.

"When you have got that in your background you just take the next game and you look forward to your next game and your preparation for the next game is obviously the key, that is one thing that I have been pleased about, the lads are preparing very well and we are looking forward to the game.

"It is all about good players, we have got good players at this football club, players who can create and score goals, we have got a wonderful team spirit which is the key to try and get as far as you can.

"I think with the work ethic, the team spirit and the quality of player I think that that is the main reason for our success."

Dennis Wise:

"Hopefully we can cause a few problems for Preston," said the 38-year-old with 21 England caps to his name. "The lads are very professional and want to get as many points as possible over the next few games, so we want to do the job right."

"I don't know if I'll start," Wise said about his own availability. "I think everyone who started last week did very well. I didn't put myself on after only a couple of day's training, so we will just have to see

"Barry Hayles [back injury] improved and we'll have to leave it till late to see how he'll be and I'm sure Barry will be honest and tell us how he is as well."

Preston

Prestons only injury worry is Callum Davidson who will miss the game after injuring his calf during the warm against Cardiff last weekend.

Matt Hill will step into the side to deputise as he did last week.

Millwall manager Dennis Wise may name himself in the starting line up after recovering from a thigh injury.

Paul Ifil may also make the starting line-up after he was a substitute in the draw against West Ham last week.
