MIDDLESBROUGH v LITECKS LOVETCH EARLY TEAM NEWS

It is being reported that Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren will turn to his youngsters as Boro try to finish top of Uefa Cup Group D.

Boro have already qualified for the knockout stages so Matthew Bates, Adam Johnson and Jason Kennedy could win starting places alongside already established James Morrison.

Boro will probably have plenty of big guns on the bench in case things backfire for the manager.

The injury list contains the same names as last week with thankfully no additions. Just to recap, Gaizka Mendieta, Szilard Nemeth, Stuart Parnaby, Tony McMahon, Stewart Downing and Ray Parlour are all currently out.

Steve McClaren spoke to the BBC.

"The players don't mind who they face next. They fought long and hard to get into Europe and the nights so far have been disappointing because the crowds have been poor. If it's a big team, I don't think the players would mind. I certainly wouldn't."
