Hearts 0 - 0 Motherwell

By Paul Marshall
December 27 2003

Motherwell kept Hearts out with an impressive defensive display to earn their first point in the SPL since November. Celtic target Stephen Pearson was dropped from the starting eleven after a string of poor performances. Jason Dair replaced the midfielder.

Motherwell rarely troubled the Hearts defence and never had a shot on target during the match.

The match was beamed live on the BBC and after this no score bore they won't be rushing back to watch Motherwell.

The point at Tynecastle was Motherwell's first there since March 2000.

Steven Craigan was voted man of the match by Sandy Clark.
