Partick Thistle finally won their first match of the season and you can guess who gifted them the 3 points, Motherwell ! It's not the first time we have gifted a team their first win and it certainly won't be the last. Terry Butcher stuck with the same eleven which had been struggling in the last couple of matches. Most fans are now asking for the Englishman to freshen things up against Hibernian next Saturday.

Thistle who were the more hungrier of the two sides deserved the victory after John Paul McBride put the home side in front after an hour.
