Motherwell finally get round to playing the re - arranged fixture with Dunfermline on Tuesday night. The original date had to be cancelled due to Motherwell having 3 players on Scotland under - 19 duty. Terry Butcher is expected to keep the with the same eleven which drew 1 -1 with Livingston at the weekend.

Dunfermline manager Jimmy Calderwood has Derek Young pushing for a starting place after making a subs appearance in the 2 - 0 win over Dundee at the weekend. Calderwood will also be boosted by the return of Andy Tod.


A win would see Motherwell go three points clear of Dunfermline in the table in the race for a european spot. Dunfermline have failed to win at Fir Park since August 2000, something which will please the home support.
