The Motherwell board are hoping to change the name of the Main Stand at Fir Park to the John " Sailor " Hunter Stand.

The " Sailor " served the club for 47 years and guided the club to their only Scottish Championship in 1932. He held the position of manager for 35 years !!! from 1911 until 1946 before taking up the post of Club Secetary for 12 years.
