It was announced at the club's AGM that Director Bill Dickie will take over from John Boyle as Chairman of Motherwell Football Club. Bill thanked John Boyle for his efforts in trying to make Motherwell the third force in Scottish Football behind Rangers and Celtic. He also appealed to the fans for their continued support.


Martyn Corrigan

Martyn Corrigan has signed a new contract which will keep him at Fir Park until 2006. Terry Butcher told the official site " We are delighted that Martyn has signed up after we had been talking to him for two or three months now. He enjoys his football here and is playing the best football of his career. He is a player who can play in a number of positions and always does well for us. He is the type of player who hardly misses a minute of a game and never misses training. "

Trialist

Trialist Gerard Davis from New Zealand will not be offered a contract with the club. The midfielder didn't get clearance to play in the under 21 side.
