Everton manager David Moyed has ruled out a move for Motherwell midfielder Stephen Pearson after it was reported The ' Toffees ' amongst other Premiership clubs had sent scouts to Fir Park on Sunday for the Rangers match.

It's rumoured Newcastle, Bolton, Wolves and Everton are keeping a close eye on the midfielder. The Scotland Under-21 international contract at Fir Park runs out at the end of the current season and could sign a pre contract agreement in January. The fee would be decided at a tribunal.



Everton who have already signed James McFadden from Motherwell couldn't rule out a move for the 20 year old in the future, Goodison Boss David Moyes told the BBC " We have no interest in the player at the present time. "
