The votes have been added and 79 % of Motherwell fans are happy with the signings of Gordon Marshal, Alex Burns and Steven Craigan. In our recent poll we wanted to find out if Motherwell fans were happy with the signings Terry Butcher has made this pre season ( so far ).





We had our biggest ever response to a poll on this site and 79 % of those who took part feel Terry Butcher has moved for the right men ! He's brought in experience which was lacking in the team last season. 21 % feel the signings could have been of a better standard but when you look back to this time last season when we signed Daniel Sengewald, Khaled Kemas and Darren Jack you now have to be more confident going into this campaign.








Gordon Marshall


The ex Falkirk, Celtic and Kilmarnock goalkeeper has got loads of experience playing at the top level but at 39 years old you feel he could only be between the Fir Park sticks for one season only. 11 shut outs last season. 3/5





Alex Burns


Toastie as he's known is back for his second spell at Fir Park after a very successful season at Partick Thistle scoring 18 goals ! The Fir Park faithful will be happy if the pint sized striker can put away at least 10 goals in the new campaign. 4/5





Steven Craigan


Like Alex, Steven is here for his second spell at Fir Park, he moved to Partick Thistle after finding it tough trying to get regular first team football. Steven now commands a regular place in the Northern Ireland squad. 3/5
