Newcastle United midfielder Brian Kerr has been linked with a loan move to Motherwell according to teletext. The Scotland under - 21 international has stated that he would jump at the chance to go out on loan at Motherwell as he's hoping to gain more first team experience. Brian told teletext " It's getting to a critical stage in my career and I need to be playing more. To go to Motherwell would be excellent but I know they are struggling financially. "



The Motherwell born midfielder knocked back Rangers to sign for the Magpies at the begining of the 2000 - 01 season but has found first team appearances limited.







If the loan goes through he'll be the fourth new face at Fir Park joining Gordon Marshall, Steven Craigan and Alex Burns who have already signed up.
