Alan Dick speaks to Pride of Lanarkshire

Pride of Lanarkshire has been talking to Partick Thistle secetary Alan Dick who is at the centre of the row over Motherwell signing players whilst in administration. We asked Alan who is a former employee of Motherwell why Thistle are so aggrieved at Motherwell signing Partick players and why the Fir Park club aren't wining any support in their battle to survive.

He told us " I'm not aggrieved in any way at Motherwell 'signing' players from Partick Thistle.

Any club, in my opinion, which is still in interim administration after a year and who cannot pay its football debts (approx £1m to players in MFC's case) should face the penalty of relegation (one division down). Football, as we know it, could be in chaos shortly if the matter is not tackled now, believe me.

Again, in my opinion, MFC should come out of interim administration, go in to full administration, sell messrs McFadden, Pearson, Hammell etc, 'pay - off' the players who are owed £1m from these sales, and virtually 'start' again. That would be the honourable thing to do and would win MFC a lot of friends. As it stands at the moment, MFC is 'cheating' every club in the SPL. Ask any of them.
