Motherwell have arranged three pre season friendlies this July, all are away from Fir Park.

New Douglas Park


Our first fixture will be played on Saturday July 19th when Terry Butcher's men take on local rivals Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park. Hamilton have just been took over and replaced manager Chris Hillcoat with former Clyde manager Allan Maitland and there's no doubt he'll have Accies ready for the visit of Lanarkshire's finest. Motherwell will then be heading to England to tackle Carlisle United at Brunton Park on Tuesday July 29th. Carlisle who finished last season just one place above relegation into the Enlish Conference will also provide stiff competition for the ' Steelmen '

Motherwell have announced they will also take on John McVeigh's Stenhousemuir at Ochilview on Tuesday 22nd of July. This will be our second visit in as many years, last year Terry took his depleted squad to face Stenny and won 4 - 0.
