Motherwell goalkeeper Francois Dubourdeau has been told he is no longer needed at Fir Park, the Frenchman claimed the club had withdrew their offer of a contract. Dubourdeau who had been Motherwell's first choice Keeper this season leave's one week after fellow goalkeeper Stevie Woods had also been told he was being freed.







The 21 year old told the Scottish Express " I went in to sign the contract and was told it was no longer on the table.



"I was offered a two-year contract and everything had been agreed but, when I went in to see the manager, he told me he had changed his mind. "



Dubourdeau had signed for Motherwell under Eric Black and made his debut in a 4 - 0 defeat from Celtic.






James McFadden's good show against for Scotland against New Zealand has earned the Motherwell youngster a call up to the Scotland squad to face Germany next Saturday. Faddy said " I never thought in a million years I would get called up to face Germany "
