According to our reporter James Cameron, Motherwell manager Terry Butcher has released 7 of his first team squad including goalkeeper Stevie Woods.
The full list reads -

Stevie Woods - He was signed from Preston North End by Alex McLiesh to replace Sieb Dykstra. Stevie will always be remembered for gifting Rangers a goal in a Scottish Cup tie in 1997 which brought them back into the match. Despite his blunders Stevie was loyal to Motherwell so we wish him good luck in finding a new club.
David Clarke - Never got the chance to impress in the first team.

Dougie Ramsay - Dougie signed for Motherwell as a youngster and was loaned out to Stranraer last season but got his chance to shine at Fir Park when the club went into administration, he found himself with more first team appearances but a some mediocre performances had saw the midfielder being dropped in the last few weeks.
Darren Jack - Signed at the start of the season after being freed by Ross County.

Dirk Lehmann - Signed from Brighton by Eric Black and has been a good servant for the ' well ' but now looks as if he's getting past it in his older years.
Tony Vaughan - Tony was brought to Fir Park on loan from Nottingham Forest.
Richard Offiong - He will return to Newcastle after a unsuccessful loan period, the England under - 20 player failed to impress Terry Butcher despite scoring for the under - 21's.
