Stephen Pearson has been voted man of the match against Rangers by Motherwell fans. Last weeks poll asked who was the best player in Claret and Amber at Hampden ?

The whole team put in a great performance last weekend and it's a pity only one player can get man of the match. 75 % voted for Pearson who returned to the side from suspension, the youngster ran the midfield giving players like Ricksen and Konterman a torrid time.




The two Stevie's Craig & Hammell



Former Falkirk striker Steven Craig who signed for Motherwell on a free during the winter transfer window received 15 % of the votes. He scored on the day and was a threat to the Rangers defence down the wing. James McFadden who netted the goal of the day and put Motherwell ahead received 5 % with Stevie Hammell also picking up the same number of votes.
