It's official ! Motherwell fan's are delighted with Terry Butcher's work at Fir Park. Last weeks poll asked fan's visiting this site who has been our best manager in recent years ? with Terry getting the lions share of the votes. Terry took over at the end of last season from Eric Black when Eric had decided he couldn't build a team he wanted with no money after the club went into administration in April.

Terry's popularity has soared this season after back to back wins over both sides of the Old Firm at Fir Park and who could forget our 6 - 1 demolition of Hearts ?

Terry has also had no money to spend and has got the youth at the club giving 110 % everytime they pull on the claret and amber jersey, something which was missing in the last few seasons.
