Joe's View , Joe McKelvie writes his first piece for The Well Experience, this week he talks about striker Stevie Ferguson heading back to Spurs after his 6 month loan spell. Steven Ferguson's loan spell at motherwell has ended after failing to earn an extended stay by Terry Butcher the striker's strike rate was abysmal. He only scored twice in eighteen games and wasn't going to develop into anything more than a fringe player with the Fir Park side.

Motherwell's striking options aren't great right now with Ferguson leaving, McFadden will be out for a four match suspension after the Kilmarnock game at Rugby Park in the Scottish Cup 3rd Round. David Clarkson may get an extended run with Dirk Lehmann or maybe Khaled Kemas may get a look in if he improves his fitness. Former Falkirk youngster David Craig may be offered a contract if he impresses Butcher while training and Noel Spencer and keeper Ian McAldon are also on trial at Fir Park.
