City today announced that the £13 million deal to bring Nicolas Anelka to the club had finally been completed. The deal will see Alain Toure move in the opposite direction.

City have today finally completed the signing of Nicolas Anelka from PSG.

The deal, as expected, will see Alain Toure move in the opposite direction as part of a £13 million package.

Kevin Keegan spoke of his delight on signing Anelka and made it quite clear that he will be his first choice forward. The remaining five will have to fight it out to play up front with Anelka, Keegan saying he had no need to sell any of them. Whether he can keep all of his forwards happy remains to be seen.
