City to play Hamburg and tour Ireland pre season

City will play their usual round of North West pre season friendlies with trips to Preston, Rochdale and Tranmere as well as european trips to Hamburg and Ireland.

Pre Season Fixtures

City have announced 4 definite pre season games and a further 2 that are yet to be confirmed.

City will visit Preston on the 30th July, Rochdale on the 5th August and Tranmere on the 6th August. Sandwiched between these three will be a trip to Hamburg to play HSV, one of Keegan’s former clubs, on Saturday 3rd August.

The club have also announced a two game tour of Ireland with dates and opposition yet to be confirmed.

It may not be the tour in Europe that we all expected, but if you must pick one get over to Hamburg for the weekend of the 3rd August. There should be blues aplenty over there and it promises to be a weekend to remember.
