Rovers Loan Campbell

Doncaster Rovers have loaned Cardiff striker, Andy Campbell, for a month.

The brother of former Rovers striker, Neil Campbell, will be fit and available for Saturday’s trip to league strugglers, Wrexham.

 

He left Middlesbrough for Cardiff in 2002 but has been more a squad player recently, causing him to move to Belle Vue in search of first-team football.

 

Penney said:

 

"I had been trying to bring him in for a few months but Cardiff wanted him there and he featured in the FA Cup against Blackburn plus the starting line-up against Burnley last Saturday."

 

"This is the level of player we are looking at in our quest to get to the play-offs."
