Morley to Macclesfield

Doncaster have let Dave Morley sign for League Two club, Macclesfield, for what is belieed to be a five-figure sum.

The centre-back just needs to pass a medical and then he will be leaving South Yorkshire.

 

The 27-year-old joined Doncaster back in 2002 and started over 50 games for the club in their rise up the football league, but has been surplus to requirement ever since Rovers reached League One.

 

Macclesfield Town Chairman, Rob Bickerton said:

 

"This will hopefully be the first of a number of signings the club plans to make,"
