The Clarets are hoping to play Serie A side Chievo Verona as part of their summer tour in Italy. The club have released some details but full details are set to be finalised.

Burnley will be spending six-days in the Verona region training while taking part in two games on Tuesday July 25th and Friday July 28th.

The club are hoping to secure a fixture with Serie A outfit Chievo Verona on one of those dates.

The top flight Italian team finished seventh and qualifying for the second time in their history in the UEFA Cup.

Details are still to emerge from Turf Moor of who the other potential opponent could be but the games are expected to be within easy reach of their Lake Garda camp and Verona.
