We bring you a round-up of all the latest news from Turf Moor. Including the latest from the reserve team, ticket news and a special offer from Alastair Campbell.
The reserve team drew at Turf Moor last night against bottom of the table Barnsley. Both sides struggled to create any real chances and the match finished 0-0. The side was a very young one and the result still leaves Burnley 2nd from bottom in the Pontins Premier Division.
Burnley Football Club have announced that season ticket holders will be able to 'bring a friend' for the next home game against Wimbledon(March 20th). If there are no spare seats near you and you would like to sit with your friend then it will be possible for to move from your normal seat for this one game.
Dave Edmundson had this to say on the move
'The important thing was that we wanted to try and reward the loyalty of the season ticket holders....the concessions we had earlier in the season were very successful, but it did compromise the Season Ticket Holders a little bit, so we wanted to reward them....they can bring a friend for free for the Wimbledon match, which is a big game for us.'
If you can't get a free ticket of one of your friends then you will be able to purchase one at a reduced rate of £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
We also have the latest ticket news for the Bradford game where no advanced tickets can be bought with everyone able to pay on the day.
The final offer made to Burnley fans is from our very own Alastair Campbell who is having a Question and Answer session at the Bridgewater Hall next week. Joined by Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall who will chair the event, he will be giving a talk on his beliefs and motivations, together with his experiences of British politics from the inside, before facing questions from the floor in what is sure to be an interesting and varied debate. Tickets for the event cost £15, plus another £15 for a champagne reception, BUT for Burnley fans it costs only £20 for both the reception and a ticket for the main event, or just £10 for one of them.
To take advantage of the offer, Clarets fans must call The Bridgewater Hall Box Office on 0161 907 9000 and quote 'Burnley Football Club'.
