Full Time Comments:

unclegroucho : a betterstart in the 2nd half some good saves from the beast. wondering if we were ever going to score without stan doing his rant, but glen pulled hid first goal of the season to ensure 3 valuable points for the clarets. Hopefully this will be the start of a flurry of goals for glen, now he has broke his season's duck.

kobold : .....WE ARE THE BURNLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Pete : A quiet start to the second half but the introduction of chadwick certainly helped. After a constant drive forward a well deserved goal from Little. A valuable 3 points

Claretjo : exciting ending and GREAT to see Glen score again

Parrotclete : good....and 6 games unbeaten

Kata : RELIEF and Need to grow my nails again!!!!!!!!!!

From LET Live Score -

16:51: FT: BURNLEY 1 GILLINGHAM 0

GLEN Little's first goal of the season could prove priceless at the end of the season as the Clarets claimed a crucial victory.
The winger struck with just seven minutes left of a dour game that seemed to be petering out into a sorry stalemate.
Richard Chaplow began the all-important move with a ball to Neil Wood, whose chip into the box was converted with aplomb by Little.
Ian Moore was earlier denied by a great save from Gills stopper Jason Brown as Burnley picked up after the break.
And Brian Jensen kept the lead intact with minutes left, making a simply magnificent save to deny Chris Hope's header from flying into the top corner.

from SexyClarets Chat Room -

Pete : A wet and wild afternoon at Turf Moor. All the action in midfield, but the old cliché of a 'scrappy game' sums it up. Chaplow having some good ball, can't say I have heard a shot on goal yet. Wood and Ian Moore having a quiet time. Ref ok, no cards issued.

Claretjo : zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

unclegroucho : The game started scrappy, with the odd missed chance. I thought that the Clarets would have maybe carried on from the F.A. cup win and made a few fist time conversion. wondering if Stan's absence is a contributing factor? I think that they need to put Stan on speakerphone and invest in an arse kicking machine. Once again we failed to convert corners, and seem to lack commitment

Kata : first half best forgotten..not the best half we have seen

From LET Live Score -

15:54: HT: Burnley 0 Gillingham 0

Scoreless after a truly dreadful first half at Turf Moor. The Clarets failed to create a single shot on target in 45 minutes, with Brian Jensen also untroubled in the Clarets goal.

This game can only get better.
