Burnley Football Club today announced a ticket offer for the forthcoming home games at the Turf in November. The games in question are Rotherham on the 22nd November and the game against Reading 3 days later on the 25th.
The first offer is obviously based at families coming to the game with a special ticket offer of 2 Adults and 2 kids for the combined price of £20.
Supporters who buy their tickets in advance can obtain a 50p discount of the relevant matchday programme as well as obtaining a 10% reduction of anything bought within the club shop.
Season ticket holders haven't been forgotten and they will receive a 15% discount from the club shop so one expects the Christmas shopping to be done a little bit earlier this year.
Thankfully Burnley have not forgotten the most important issue - pies, with a £1 discount off assuming a fiver has been spent in the kiosks
Dave Edmundson has said the deal is aimed at bringing familes to the club however there is no doubt that a growing element of Burnleys' support believe there is too much emphasis on families at the Turf and i'm not sure how the 'New Anthem' will go down with fans at the Turf. Apparently there will be a local celebrity singing the song before the game against Rotherham.
One thing the club have to be commended for is the effort they are making to increase crowds at the Turf.
