Clarets seal automatic promotion with win at Boro
The Clarets secured their place back in the Premier League at the first time of asking with a 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough on Friday night at the Riverside Stadium.
Goals from Ashley Barnes and Connor Roberts either side of Chuba Akpom's penalty sealed automatic promotion for Burnley.
Over 2,000 Clarets were in attendance on Teesside to cheer the side over the line and celebrate Good Friday in fine fashion.
Manager Vincent Kompany made two changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Sunderland last Friday.
Ameen Al-Dakhil and Johann Berg Gudmundsson replaced Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Manuel Benson respectively.

I must say FL, I was one that did not hold out much hope for us before the season started, but VK has been an absolute star.
My anger over Dyche was the way it was done, limited games left and sack the main man WTF, I would agree it was to happen but not when it did. Anyways we are back in the top flight and we will have to see how they go, I did enjoy this season very much though.
I still do not buy into our owners no trust of them whatsoever.
