Burnley's transfer balancing act recruitment plans and the financial factor.

 Football is back on the agenda with the Premier League in line to return in under three weeks.

 Burnley will be aiming to pick up where they left off and finish the truncated campaign with a flourish.

 Top fight clubs face the prospect of a packed fixture list followed immediately by the transfer window and then a short run in into next season.

 The Clarets have been, and will continue to be, linked with a host of players as the weeks go by.

 What we do know for certain is that Burnley will be operating prudently in the transfer window and are likely to priortise deals for the likes of Jeff Hendrick - he of AC Milan interest - and Phil Bardsley, before moving into the market.
