The Clarets Are Champions! An unbeaten 2016 from Sean Dyche’s side has rewarded the Clarets with the Sky Bet Championship title!

Eight wins in the last 11 away games, in a staggering post-war record of 23 unbeaten league fixtures saw the Clarets return to the Premier League in style!

And following the comprehensive 3-0 win at relegated Charlton, there was symmetry to the promotion two years ago, as Sean Dyche’s side ended the season on 93 points, the same tally as the 2013/14 season, with the same number of wins, draws and defeats!

Sam Vokes gave the Clarets the early lead, scoring his 16th goal of the season, before George Boyd doubled the lead early on in the second half.

And a minute later Andre Gray sealed the rout with a fine solo goal to chalk up his 25th of the campaign.

Both sides created numerous chances in the first half, and the Clarets came the close early on with a lovely swift move.

Matthew Lowton cut inside and found Scott Arfield at the edge of the box.

The Canadian cleverly flicked on first-time to Vokes to his left, however the forward couldn’t steer the curling effort on target.

Congratulations to Sean Dyche, his Burnley team and all at Burnley Football Club on becoming Champions Of The Championship 2015/16. Magnificent effort all round, my player of the season is Joey, we couldn't have done it without him, 2 year contract minimum please.

Hats off to all involved with the club - a magnificent achievement. I was dancing the night away early on Sunday morning in Kuala Lumpur when a couple dressed in red football shirts started dancing. That's funny I thought, they look like 'Boro shirts and they were! Very happy to have beaten Brighton but miffed that we ARE THE CHAMPIONS. There really is no pleasing some people.

Well done to Sean and the players on winning the league title ..not forgetting going 23 games undefeated in one of the hardest and most competitive leagues in the world ..Fantastic achievement.Proud to be a Super Claret..

Still showing the football world "how to do it" 100+ years on.When all the pieces fit success is not very far away and at BFC the pieces fit.Well done to everyone.My thoughts during the Charlton game and even more so at the end was about those travelling fans.Many will have sacrificed much to be there game after game and on Saturday they got payback, I could not be more delighted for them.it was obvious from the players actions amongst the fans they thought so too.How our club has achieved this makes you walk tall.

Probably not the thread to single out one individual at Charlton, but after watching the replays a couple of times I have to give a mention to Dean Marney. Three cracking passes from Deano led to our three goals.

We've really missed him, we're a far better team when Deano's playing.

Yes he was BC,personally I thought Tom Heaton was magnificent when called upon in the first half..He made some great saves.. Still think he is as good a keeper as the other two in the England squad..

Without some top class saves from Heaton and some atrocious finishing from the opposition, we'd have been gone in numerous games this season.

Ewood Park was a fine example.
